Responsibility

Delivering means being a guest in someone’s street

Every day our drivers are in residential streets where people live and work. How we do that is not a side issue.

What we hold ourselves to

Not a programme — the way the work is done

We have no sustainability department and no glossy brochure. What we have are decisions taken every day: about contracts, about routes, about vehicles.

This page describes what holds today. It deliberately quotes no figure we cannot evidence. Where we are not there yet, that is written here too.

Our four areas

The people who drive

Delivery is a job, not a side gig. We employ accordingly.

  • Permanent contracts under German employment law — no contracting-out, no bogus self-employment.
  • Induction with somebody alongside you, not a key and a list of addresses.
  • We hire in four languages and do not expect fluent German on day one.

The streets we drive on

The last mile is the part of the supply chain that happens where people live.

  • Routes are planned before the van leaves, so detours and idling are not invented en route.
  • Vehicles go in for service on schedule, not on failure.
  • Where charging infrastructure and duty cycle line up, we are assessing electric vehicles. The status and the scale will be stated here once they can be evidenced.

Safety you can check

A rule nobody verifies is a statement of intent.

  • Driving and rest times are recorded, not estimated.
  • Licence checks at fixed intervals, documented.
  • Load securing and vehicle condition are part of the handover, not an extra.

The places we work in

We are an employer where we deliver. That is not charity: people who know their area run a better round.

  • Hiring and induction happen at the station people will drive from — in Berlin, Magdeburg or Werder, not through a head office somewhere else.
  • For many on the team this is a first permanent job in Germany. We expect that and build the induction around it.
  • If someone still needs a licence, or wants to upgrade one, they work that out with us rather than alone.

Our commitments

What you can hold us to

Four points concrete enough that somebody can remind us of them.

Employment
Whoever drives for us is employed by us. We do not build chains of subcontractors.
Pay
The minimum wage is the floor, not the target. Overtime is recorded and settled.
Data
Application data is deleted after six months at the latest. That is not an intention — it is a job that runs every night.
Being reachable
Anyone who reports a problem — staff, residents, clients — gets an answer from a person.

Something to raise?

If you notice something on the road, or have a question about how we work, write to us.
