Delivering since 2020

The last mile is not a side show

It is the only part of the chain your recipients actually see. We drive it with our own staff, our own fleet and our own dispatch.

Working at dsb Global

Driving on a permanent contract

Permanent from day one, paid training, equipment provided. Apply in German, English, Turkish or Arabic.

Berlin · Magdeburg · Werder

Three stations, one network

From three delivery stations we cover Berlin and the central German corridor. A short run to the station means more time on the round.

Documented, not asserted

Responsibility that survives an audit

Working hours recorded electronically, ID carried on every round, clearance certificates on request. So your liability as the client does not become a risk.

Who we are

A delivery company, not an agency

dsb Global is a logistics company based in Berlin. We run last-mile delivery rounds for large parcel networks, plus transport and express runs in Europe — and we employ the people who drive them ourselves.

That difference sounds like a formality and is not one. Passing rounds on also passes on control over quality, working hours and liability. We do not. Dispatch, training, vehicles and contracts sit with us, and so does the responsibility for somebody standing at the right door on time.

Two ways through this site

You are either looking for a contractor for your last mile, or you are looking for a job. Both paths continue here.

For clients

Hand over rounds without handing over control

Fixed vehicle classes, electronic time records, documentation on request. You get a commitment we can stand behind, not a brochure.

For drivers

A contract that stays

Permanent, paid training, workwear and equipment provided. We help with paperwork, housing and your driving licence.

Services

What we take on

Three areas that belong together. Supplying only vehicles, or only people, just moves the problem to the next handover.

Last-mile delivery

Courier, express and parcel delivery, day in and day out. Fixed rounds, familiar faces, a named contact in dispatch.

  • Our own dispatch, with one named contact per client
  • Route planning and follow-up handled in house
  • Returns, redistribution and re-delivery included

People who stay

We hire, train and keep. Turnover is the most expensive line on a last-mile operation and the one nobody sees on the invoice.

  • Permanent contracts, not a chain of fixed terms
  • Paid quality and field training before the first solo round
  • Support with documents, housing and the European driving licence

Fleet and maintenance

Vehicles are equipment with a service schedule here, not a rental line. A breakdown at six in the morning is a round that does not run.

  • Our own fleet with documented maintenance
  • Replacement vehicles held at every station
  • Daily pre-departure checks, recorded per vehicle

Network

Three stations and a head office

Berlin, Magdeburg and Werder cover the Berlin metropolitan area and the central German corridor. Administration sits in Berlin.

Head office and delivery station

Berlin

Management, dispatch and accounting work here, and this is our largest station: rounds into the Berlin metropolitan area run from here, with dense schedules and short hops between stops.

Delivery station

Magdeburg

This is where dsb Global started in the summer of 2020. Today our rounds in the city and across central Germany run from Magdeburg.

Delivery station

Werder (Havel)

Covers the corridor west of Berlin. A smaller station, with longer rounds and more driving time per parcel.

How it works

How a contract starts

Four steps, no pitch meetings.

  1. 01

    Enquiry and volume

You tell us the region, the volume and when you need to start. We tell you honestly whether and when we can cover it.

  2. 02

    Quote and documentation

You get a costing and the paperwork you need for your own due diligence.

  3. 03

    Planning

Rounds, vehicles and people are planned. You get a named contact in dispatch.

  4. 04

    Start and reporting

Handover, training on your processes, then normal operation with the reporting we agreed.

Guarantor liability

What you are liable for, and what we do about it

If you contract us, you are liable as a guarantor for our minimum wage payments under section 13 MiLoG together with section 14 AEntG. That liability cannot be excluded by contract. So we are open about how we work.

Employment
Our own drivers, employed on permanent contracts. No rounds passed on to subcontractors.
Section 17 MiLoG
Electronic working time records, kept for at least two years, available on request.
Section 2a SchwarzArbG
Identification carried across the whole operation, and checked.
On request
Clearance certificates from the tax office, health insurers and BG Verkehr, commercial register extract, proof of public liability insurance, indemnity clause in the contract.

Briefly

Common questions

Do you pass rounds on to subcontractors?

No. Every round is driven by our own permanently employed staff. That is the reason we can give you a straight answer about working hours and pay at all.

Which regions do you cover?

From our stations in Berlin, Magdeburg and Werder. For anywhere else, talk to us before you plan.

Do I need German to apply?

Not to apply. Write in German, English, Turkish or Arabic and we answer in the same language. For the job itself we teach you what you need.

How quickly will I hear back?

We come back to applicants by phone or message. Client enquiries get an answer from dispatch that you can act on, not an acknowledgement of receipt.

Let us talk about your rounds

Whether you are handing over a region or looking for a job: one message is enough, and a person answers it.
